Heather Beery
Information Architect

Heather Beery came to the Office of Creative Services as an intern while completing her MIS at the Indiana University School of Library and Information Science. During her graduate education, Heather was a member of the IU UITS User Experience Group and served as editorial assistant for the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication. Upon completion of her degree in 2007, she joined OCS as a full-time information architect.

A strong foundation in sociology led Heather to the study of Human-Computer Interaction. She particularly enjoys learning about new technologies and their subsequent impact on personal and social behavior. Memberships in the Usability Professionals Association and the Information Architecture Institute keep her up-to-date on current research activities and developments in the field.

Heather loves foreign films and is interested in hearing about your favorites. She can be contacted by e-mail or through her Skype account: miss_information.
