Creative Services Staff Win 11 Awards

Following our eight Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District V awards in February 2006, the IU Office of Creative Services staff was honored with nine CASE V awards in October 2006 for print and electronic projects. CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, and development. District V includes universities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

The Creative Services team also won two Web design awards from W3, both in the “science” category:

Gold Award
Rebecca Salerno, Kyle Haskins, Jane Below, Linda Stephenson, Ceci Jones, Ashley Callahan, and Dave Wang for the Indiana University Life Sciences Web site.

Silver Award
Kyle Haskins, Tina Gilliland, Jennifer Piurek, Rebecca Salerno, Jane Below, and Ned Shaw for the 2006 National Science Olympiad site.

The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the Web and recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind award-winning sites and marketing programs. The W3 is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms, including BRANDWEEK, Omnicom, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, MTV, Wired, and Yahoo!
