Grant-Funded Project Assistance Now Available With Creative Services
June 6, 2008
The Office of Creative Services announces its availability to help university clients with grant-funded projects that include communications and creative components. Services include pre-grant estimates and creative and technical services for creating print and new media products, from brochures to podcasts.
OCS can be contacted at any time during a researcher’s grant-writing process for estimates to include in their grant proposals. Once research grants are approved, Creative Services is available to produce those products.
Recent projects include an educational booklet that was a companion piece to a DVD called Return of the Cicadas. Professor Keith Clay in the Department of Biology received a grant from the National Science Foundation to fund the booklet; which was a collaboration between Clay and OCS editors and designers.
The Creative Services new media team also recently completed a design for the Teaching with Primary Sources Web site that is funded by a grant from the Library of Congress.
