Rebecca Salerno
Associate Director
Rebecca Salerno is an associate director for the IU Office of Creative Services. She has worked at IU since 1999, first as a writer-editor and then as the manager of IU’s print and electronic publishing team. Before joining IU, she held positions as a copywriter and public relations specialist at an advertising agency and as a copy editor and indexer for Macmillan Computer Publishing.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and history from Indiana University. Her work has been published in several magazines, including Indianapolis Monthly and Endless Vacation, and she is the winner of a 2007 Webby Award for her work on the “IU is Red Hot” Web site. In addition, she is profiled in the book 100 Jobs in Words.
