CHALLENGE

The Kelley School of Business wanted to create a stronger, more contemporary image of the school on the Web. They needed to centrally organize information on their home page in an efficient manner, making it more user-friendly and easier to update, and unifying all the departments in a cohesive manner.

SOLUTION

We used consistent terminology, fonts, and colors to unify all of the departments to reflect the school"s personality as a whole. We also added enhanced graphics, photography, and Flash animations to give it a more contemporary feel. BusinessWeek said the new Web site was "Flash-based, fluid, and fairly easy to navigate. And it does a good job of selling its programs, with attractive photos and inviting links." Students and faculty are also pleased. Richard Shockley, associate professor of finance, said: "It is far, far better than any other academic Web site I've seen. I just can't get over how powerfully our message comes across."
