CHALLENGE

IU Bloomington hosted the 2006 National Science Olympiad and needed to create an engaging Web site for young people.

SOLUTION

Launched in August 2005, the Web site promoted the 2006 event, disseminated information to teachers and students, and provided interactive forms for participants. In an effort to appeal to middle school and high school students, the home page featured 12 Flash animations and audio, and subsequent pages include fun facts about IU. The co-directors of this event wrote and built part of the site.
