CHALLENGE

Complement our existing marketing strategies, such as billboards and print ads, by allowing students to use technology to share their personal IU experiences in their own words.

SOLUTION

The new media team released five videos of IU students on YouTube, a popular video sharing Web site with 100 percent user-generated content. The videos subtly convey the diversity of the IU student body by providing an inside glimpse into the daily lives of a handful of IU students. The spots feature the theme “Hello, My Name is Indiana University.”
