IU Northwest Office of Marketing and Communications

CHALLENGE

To promote IU Northwest’s distinctive personality and offerings to both traditional and nontraditional prospective students; also, to update recruitment publications that were becoming dated in look and content.

SOLUTION

The creative team collaborated with the Office of Marketing and Communications to capture the unique feel and energy of IU Northwest in the recruitment materials. Since IU Northwest’s prospective students are both traditional and nontraditional in terms of their age and life experiences, we created two targeted viewbooks, as well as a search brochure. We updated the look and content of the materials with dynamic graphics and new photography. In addition to writing several student and alumni personality profiles, our writer created the theme “degrees that open doors,” which is iterated in all the publications. The theme positions the campus, and degrees attained there, as gateways to new and better opportunities. The report showcases IURTC's efforts in commercializing technologies based on IU research and in developing new companies, focusing on researchers, discoveries, and inventions.
